United Student Body will be hosting its annual Winter Homecoming night rally tomorrow in Byers’ Gymnasium at 7 p.m.

Crowning of the homecoming court will be for the Top 5 boys that are Omar Olivas, Sebastian Loera, Jerry Estrada, Sebastian Garcia and Erik Anaya. Top 5 girls are Juliece Losoya, Nayeli Cisneros, Daisy Herrera, Elizabeth Trenado and Abigail Damian.

“I feel blessed and really excited for the night rally and the homecoming game. I’m nervous, but if it doesn’t go my way, I still had fun. I love being on the court with my brothers who I call family and especially experiencing my school’s beyond crazy spirit,” said Omar Olivas, varsity senior and running candidate.

Homecoming queen and king will be announced at the rally.

“For the past two weeks, we’ve been preparing for this event with several hours of work. I’m confident for the execution of the rally and also our plans for the homecoming game in the student section. I’m excited to see how all our posters look,” said Kimberly Macias, USB member.

Activities will take place throughout the event to celebrate the following day’s Homecoming game.

“I always get excited to see our final work in the posters and lighting effects up and working. So many students dedicated their hard work and preparation in practicing for performances. Recognition for winter athletes will also be another significant aspect apart of the rally,” said Peter Murashige, USB advisor.

Spartan cagers will be facing the Bell Garden Lancers Friday night at 7 p.m.
