DIY: Auntie Karine Minasyan’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Preheat oven to 350°
  3. Add a bowl, cream 1 cup of butter (room temp.) with 1 cup light brown sugar
    & ½ cup white sugar until fluffy
  4. Add: 2 room temperature eggs one by one, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 cup toasted oats, 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt cmyk egg
  5. Beat until well mix
  6. Fold in 1 cup chocolate chip (semi-sweet or mild)  chocolate chip chocolate chip
  7. Drop heaping tablespoon-size ball of dough 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets
  8. Bake until cookies are golden around edges,but soft in the center, 10-15 min.
  9. Let stand 5-10 minutes in the pan
  10. Then put on cooling rack, and cool completely
