DIY: Auntie Karine Minasyan’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

- Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Add a bowl, cream 1 cup of butter (room temp.) with 1 cup light brown sugar
& ½ cup white sugar until fluffy - Add: 2 room temperature eggs one by one, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 cup toasted oats, 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt
- Beat until well mix
- Fold in 1 cup chocolate chip (semi-sweet or mild)
- Drop heaping tablespoon-size ball of dough 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets
- Bake until cookies are golden around edges,but soft in the center, 10-15 min.
- Let stand 5-10 minutes in the pan
- Then put on cooling rack, and cool completely
