Fall homecoming culminates tomorrow with the varsity football game at 7 p.m. on the Ken Davis Field against the San Gabriel Matadors.

United Student Body (USB) hosted the homecoming night rally in the amphitheater where they crowned Andrew Rangel homecoming king. The queen will be revealed during halftime at the game.

“I am excited to see what underclassmen have in store for Friday’s ‘Battle of the Buildings.’ We have a lot of spirit-packed events planned. People should definitely not miss out on Friday’s game,” said Johnathan Martinez, USB president.

Spirit week’s dress up days conclude with tomorrow’s “Fanatic Friday” to help excite the student body for the game.

The minimum day schedule will be followed with classes dismissed at 12:10 p.m. The annual carnival that allows clubs to sell drinks or food will be held in the area in front of the Aquatic Center.

“Working with a new group of USB students is always reinvigorating. Their energy and fresh ideas raise the school’s spirit. AVID will be providing a new ‘jousting area’ to the carnival event, which should be a lot of fun,” said Activities Director Peter Murashige.

Festivities, such as virtual reality, bungee jumping and a jousting arena will be supplied for free, with the presentation of a student I.D. Guests are welcome to enjoy the occasion after school before attending the game.

Students can purchase tickets to the football game for $7 at the gate.
