19th Annual Cheer Clinic

Cheer Clinic participants will perform the routine at Friday’s home game against Whittier High School.

Cheer hosted their 19th annual Cheer Clinic to help fundraise for their program. Participants ages 2 to 16 could have joined and learned the cheers that are performed in football games.

“It’s a lot of fun and it is a great chance to show your spartan pride,” said head coach Tanya Borba.

“ It’s a great way to get a slice of what it’s like to do cheer.” said Borba. “ Quite a few kids that that went to the clinic have become part of cheer.”

The $20 price to attend included snacks, entrance to the football game and a T-shirt that they will wear at the performance.

The event was held inside the small gym Sept.16 from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
