The JV team has an 8-1 record after beating the Rosary Royals, 16-5, Feb. 1; the Mark Keppel Aztecs, 8-3, Jan. 31, and the Bell Gardens Lancers, 10-2, Jan. 24. They also beat the St. Lucy’s Regents, 9-7, Jan. 6, and the California Condors, 11-1, Jan. 4.
“This season has been accomplished through a lot of hard work, so it definitely hasn’t been easy, but I know that as a team we are really prepared to dominate the remainder of our season and win the league title once more,” said junior Angelica Cruz. “By communicating more and implementing plays, we should be able to accomplish this.”
