Anticipated on PS4, Xbox One and PC, Fallout 4 meets gamers’ expectations with its intriguing storytelling.

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and designed by Emil Pagliarulo, Fallout 4 is an open world action role-playing sandbox game with a story, containing different pathways that lead to multiple endings.  The pathways are triggered by making certain decisions along the storyline.

Fallout 4 takes place in post-apocalyptic Boston.  Following the storyline, players complete quests which give experiences and thus “level up” their characters.  These levels are used to upgrade abilities that increase a character’s efficiency.

The game is single-player and does not have any co-op or multiplayer options.  The main storyline takes approximately 22 hours to complete, excluding the extras and other play styles.  Users are still able to play after they complete the entire storyline without having to restart, meaning players can progress and level up their characters after finishing the game.

Players are able to customize the appearance of their characters by changing the hair and facial features to give each of their characters a unique look.  On the registration form, players name their characters and are given 21 to points at which they can assign the following attributes: strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility and luck.

For better defense, players are able to craft their own weapons.  Materials, which can be found by scrapping and looting, are required in order to craft a weapon.  Players can also upgrade their weapons with certain materials.

Fallout 4 was released Nov.20 and sold over one million copies with 24 hours of its release.  The game is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game currently costs $60, and can be purchased online or at gaming stores.
